Being a life long Wings fan, and watching the team be really really bad, this team feels different. The forecheck is better, the PK and PP are better. It feels like this team decided they were sick of losing. Also, addressing your biggest need in a top line goal scorer, is never a bad move.

REALLY impressed from Holl in this one, never really expect a ton of points but his passing was really smart tonight. He is now tied for first in plus minus at +8 as well. My wings are finally doing the thing :)

Here's the bottom line. Wings now can dominate on Special Teams. The PP is really tight and our PP is scary and that Larkin, CAT and Raymond line just wears down a D. Wait until the Energy gets going in the building, it's going to be a nightmare to play in the D

I'm glad to see the no mercy tactics from Detroit, too many times they woul have a lead and fall back to protect instead of keeping the pressure on the opposing team. Now they're just not messing around.

Still scared cuz it’s early but man this team looks and feels different as it’s felt in years. The red wings having a 1st line this fast and lethal…I think I was a kid when that was a thing. I remember that year we lost to the pens in the finals in 09, after that the wings just never felt the same. Crazy to say but this is the most fun I’ve had watching red wings hockey since that 09 team…almost 15 years, LGRW
