ResMed’s All-New ‘Fabric’ Cpap Mask - AirTouch N30i

Went from an Airfit F40 to this Airtouch N30i yesterday. Increased my sleep from 4 hours a day to over 8 hours. Love this mask

I use dreamwear and have used it at least 8 hours since day one. I tried the one before this model but the outside of the nose piece has the hard piece of plastic like it does here too. It hurt the end of my nose. In one night, I had a sore on the end of my nose. Dreamwear mask doesn't have two nostril holes that need to fit perfectly or you feel like you are going to smother. That's why there are so many kinds. we all need different.

Same design, just padded the cushion and wrapped the frame. How much did ResMed jack up the price?

This is so typical since I have just purchased a P30i which is the most comfortable mask I have tried yet. Hopefully when this needs replacing I can get this newer version hope it does become available with pillows though in the UK.

Love my F & P Evora nasal pillow but decided to switch to a brand with over the head tube. After reading many reviews & looking at prices, went with the Phillips Dreamwear over the super expensive N30i - Dreamwear reviews were better also.

I prefer the nasal cushions that the hose runs off the top. I want little as possible in front of my face

Anyone who has ever used cpap can tell you the thickness of the mask either side of the nose is going to prevent you from sleeping on your side. Air supply tubing from under nose for the win.

I had to get rid of my F30i because it was wearing away my hair at the top of my head leaving an indentation. Switched to F&P Evora where the band sits back further on the round of the back top of my head. Saves me having to wash and restyle my hair every single morning! So not for me.

So it’s resmed’s version of Dreamwear nasal. My first thought: that fabric is gonna get dirty very quickly, esp for women who dont remove their makeup at night

Sad it’s taken the industry this long to come out with a more comfortable version for masks. Ik they make the f20 airtouch but this softer material still isn’t even close to being standard or common when some of the biggest complaints are from soreness around the mask sitting area

Philips dream wear nasal cushion is where I get most reliable sleep and lowest AHIs. But with that silicon headgear I have lost so much hair from breakage over time. And on hot nights it sucks. F&P Evora and F&P solo both so good to wear but the nasal cradle design just isn’t as good as the dream wear, they feel suffocating, tubes split easily at the join to nosepiece and they both easily slip off during the night. Resmed nasal pillow mask lovely to wear once you develop calluses on your nostrils 😑 but the venting design is total rubbish and you breath in you own exhaled breath all night long, and wake up feeling terrible. And that’s from brand new - not lack of cleaning. Philips dream wear full face mask - oh if only it was ‘the one’ but leaks like a bastard if you sleep on your side unless you tighten it to bondage levels 😂. Sleep apnea sucks. All the masks have issues like their users. But I owe my life and (apparent) sanity to these expensive devices, so folks, onwards and upwards 😂😊
