Baby duckling rescued from the drain

I see this video is 2 years old now but ty to you and your father for helping them. It looked as if mama was trying to ask for your help and knew when you were offering it by not abandoning her duckling. Had to rewind a few times to see because it happened so fast. There really should be screens or something put on those type of drains.

i really like your dad. super hero in my books. that was so cool of him to come and help.
those ducks have 3 to 6 babies, and they are all part of a group. one mom takes a turn looking after all the babies. she would have stayed there a long time, till it got to the point where food or not safe for the rest of them

God only knows how many times this happens and nobody is around. Not to mention cats or other animals (birds included) spotting them while walking around.
