Is the lower prices based off DIY? And Higher point being contractors bid? Or are all prices based of contractors bid?

I got quoted 13k for new gutters. Had the roof replaced two weeks before the gutter quote for 10k. How could it be possible for the gutters to be more expensive than the roof 😂

Leaf guard tried yo sell me just the guards on my 5" gutters already installed. Then add one 20 foot gutter. Quote was $6, 600

Wow 16 a foot is a pipe dream most homes we do have 250 feet of gutter. The price would be 4000 dollars. not gonna happen in this over saturated market...
