I used the modrinth launcher. The best thing about the launcher
1:It downloads the dependency mods automatically with your mods .
2 : it has multiple instances
3:You can export your mods directly
4 : you can import external mods
5 : launcher is lite itself .
6:Ui is great

This seems very similar to the feather launcher which also supports modirinth mods in it, besides also being a separate client by itself.

I love clean this launcher is. Cruseforge can be quite confusing how squashed everything is but modrinth did it right. Would highly recommend.

Also(3:30) you didn't need to download the fabric api(none of the mods you installed need it ) or starlight(Does almost nothing since the new lighting engine was created).

Seperating mods isnt that good for searching for mods/modpacks. But, we still have Prism.

idk why, minecraft has always been just so laggy on my laptop, 3050 ti laptop, rtx. but after I used this instead of curseforger, it just, worked so much better

The one thing that i kept coming back for curseforge is the dependencies. it is so INCREDIBLY annoying having to relaunch minecraft over and over again to install the dependencies. Curseforge just did that for me.

Currently im using Prism launcher, that allows me to download everything from everywhere.

The modrinth launcher still looks pretty sick tho!

Thats cool! I dont plan on switching to it from prism but its still seems nice. I really hope as this launcher is made and modrinth gains more popularity they don't start going corporate and block the ability to download mods hosted on their website from other 3rd party launchers.

As soon as I discovered it a few months ago I switched to it from the default launcher, it's very convenient

Personally I'll still prefer the sturdiness of MultiMC, but now Modrinth would be a great second choice in case I just want to mess around with mods, I guess!
