What's the difference between No Conflict and Conflict for the mod?

I downloaded one of the files and when I loaded the game some traits was missing

idk where to go to find the answer to this but are custom traits not suppose to show up in sims info box? like when you get to know a sim and they have a custom trait it still says Unknown trait in their sims info box.
