Yes, you're right.

However, *canker sores* are not caused Herpes, and that it is very difficult to tell the difference between canker sores and cold sores.

Cold sores tend to be groups of fluid-filled blisters and often occur outside of the mouth, but can occur inside as well.

Canker sores, however, do not always occur in groups, are not fluid-filled, and only occur within the mouth.
