I have both, while the redmi note 8 pro is pretty decent for its price point, the huawei p30 pro mops the floor with the note 8 pro in terms of camera

I think Redmi Note 8 Pro would have taken still better results shooting in Manual Mode. P30 Pro always uses low ISO, which will bring the best sharpness

the cost of huawei p30 pro is 4 times redmi note 8

This is an interesting comparison. It would have been interesting to put all of the cameras into manual / pro mode. Set the same exposure, shutter speed, and ISO, across all 3 cameras, and then compared the images resulting. I presume the chromaboost can't be turned off on the realme? It would have been better to turn off the post processing on all the cameras as well. Give a proper comparison. The Realme, while dramatic and colourful, certainly lacks fine detail, while the P30 and Note 8 Pro pick up the detail much better. In addition, a tight 1:1 crop on the images in the same area to match the video resolution, side by side, would have given a nice indication of relative performance.
