If you wanna heal alot, i recommend trying to get teagan's trinket. That immediately gives you 100 tapes. All you have to do is collect more on the ground

For mastery on the first quest i prefer using connie and cosmos trinket and have a friend use cosmo and the same trinket set. Get hurt by a twisted once and make your friend go to a hiding spot and you also go with your friend
And then, start trading hearts
