The gameplay focuses on exploring, recording, meeting people, and unravelling the strange world around you. Each recording tool captures a different layer; sounds and music, art and architecture, the stories of characters living through pivotal moments. Your tools peel back these layers until you grasp the culture, history, and ecology underneath everything. This quest leads you to the big questions: what is this season? Why is it ending? And what will the next season bring?

Her mom last wish before Estelle left home was to keep the pendant safe, so that's what I did. Some memories are better to be forgotten like the ones of losing someone or of a war. But you should never forget who you are because that's what keeps you going.

I played at launch and there was a game breaking bug that occurs at tieng valley where the bike tour fails to trigger, I spent so much time waiting for the bug to get fixed and when it did they only fixed it for those who hadn't gotten that far. I lost my save after having so meticulously decorated my notebook. I ignored the game for months and just picked it back up today, I zipped past everything until the tieng valley bike tour so my notebook was empty. Imagine my surprise when the next thing the game asked of me was whether or not I wanted to sacrifice the pendant that protects my memories for just a chance to protect the people I met along the way. It made the ending that much sweeter. What a beautiful happenstance.

The difference if not enough :/ The cinematic is the same just the sentence change, and not all the sentence, i chose to keep the pendant because of the mom even if we had a cinematic saying that we meet her again later. But i though if we use the pendent to protect other people, we will see them remember, or have a little cinematic about them, i feel kinda sad about that
