Sam Wilson makes his big screen debut as Captain America! Does the movie bring us into a new era of the MCU? Is it fun as an action movie romp? Or does it feel like the reported re-shoots are true? Here's my review of CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD!

The era of watching reviews of a movie rather than the movie itself

Red Hulk is pretty much Harrison Ford if someone talks and/or asks him about Star Wars.

Haven’t watched one of this guys reviews in about like ten years. It’s crazy he still has the same format it makes me feel like I’m traveling back to a much simpler time

Harry Styles being shoehorned into MCU as Thanos’s half brother and then being forgotten about is up there for me

Boy, when they said Endgame they really meant it…

I remember when Age of Ultron came out, me and my friend drove to a different city to catch it early. Now, i wouldn't even pirate a new MCU film.

I laughed so hard during this, so magnificently spot on.
The lines about Giancarlo Esposito getting done dirty and being cast just to appear on the poster and the random Air Force One quote had me rolling.

Throwing a random Falcon 2.0 in instead of continuing to build on the relationship between Bucky and Falcon that was such a major part of Falcon and Winter Solider seems like a major misstep.

Loose ends: White Vision, Rhodes being a Skrull like half the time in the MCU for some reason, Starlord being back on Earth for the last two years.

Thank you for calling out the terrible CGI and green screen in modern MCU movies. It's inexcusable and immediately docks points off the score

Considering he hasn't taken the Super Soldier serum, there should be a big contrast between him and Steve Rogers physically. He should not be able to achieve things just through his body and have to find workarounds; he should get visibly more beaten up; have to rest more; maybe even end up in hospital at some stage. Otherwise, they undermine the difference between humans and superheroes.

Man, remember when the MCU had a vision? The constant reshoots and rewrites make it clear that the current creators just have absolutely no clue where they’re going with any of this.

I remember hearing that thing about "Sam will never take the super serum" and thinking "Does that mean it's just some dude with a jetpack and a frisbee trying to fight a hulk?"

I mean, how cool Harrison Ford is at 82. My grandma at this age was proud of herself for walking up to the front door and back. The rest of my grandparents didn't even live that long.

Honestly I liked this one and I’m so surprised to see how much some people hated it. Maybe my expectations are just too low after so long but the movie surprised me in a couple places and I grew more invested the longer it went on.

"Get off my plane" - Great callback! Best line in the review.

When i saw the poster of Red Hulk punching the shield held by a regular dude and that dude not disintegrating into oblivion, this movie lost me.

Deadpool & Wolverine said "You're joining at a bit of a low point" .... then Brave New World said "Yep he's right".

I really liked how they brought back the sense of danger in this movie. Since Sam is just a regular human he struggles a lot in his fights and has to be more creative. He could easily die if he makes a mistake and actually gets injured often, it’s refreshing to see when every super hero seems invincible now.
