I have this since the age of 17, I am 36 now eating is very difficult and not much of an interest at this point. The struggle to eat is more than enjoying the food....I'm just eating to stay alive at this point

I had swallowing problem for the past 4 years. Went to gastroenterologist and ent also did barium swallow which was normal. Then I went to the best ENT doctor of my country and it shows that I had pharynx tissue increased along with tonsil and other types of infection kind of thing.

I had the barium swallow test. If it is the first meal of the day I usually have trouble swallowing. I cannot eat bread and foods with that kind of consistency. I literally can feel the food going down my chest and it is painful. I cannot speak and just try and stay calm while the food makes it's way down into my stomach.

What if it happens only in the morning and at night and I seen where esaphagus cancer can be hard to detect because you don’t typically see signs.

It most likely is caused by a lacunar stroke. The barium swallow test will confirm it along with an MRI of the brain stem. This happened to my Dad and it took me 16 months to finally get the doc to concur with my findings

i got gerd or acid reflux im now 12yo and i have dysphagia i lost 5kg bc i dont eat alot i choke alot i really need to eat more can it last for years bc im really scared give me some advice
