2021 Trek Marlin 6 - Maxxis Hookworm - 4K

Testing out a set of Maxxis Hookworm's for pavement riding. First impressions: Holy smokes! These tires roll EXTREMELY fast!!

hows the grip of these on the road vs the stock xr2s? curious about going around corners? I already have a dedicated road bike but want to convert my marlin into something I can ride with my wife and daughter mostly in the neighborhood.

Hello i have a marlin 6 gen 3 and i wanted the hookworm tires so i bought 29 hookworm tires. Now the problem is that the tires are super wobbley when i ride down a road i feel the bike going up and down; very annoying... Looks like you dont have the problem. Is that true please answer .

Hi i have a specialized rockhopper 29" 2021 and a dtswiss clincher rim with 22 mm inner width do you think it will fit to my frame and rims? thank you if answered... nice set up by the way.

Sick setup. I have a 2019 trek marlin 7. I got these tires 2 months. Crazy smooth fast. Im getting a second wheel set just i cant easily switch between my hookworms and and my xr2s. I have taken this hookrooms on light hardpack and gravel they are capable. Not bullet proof thorns love these tires. On the road no flats. I put in a mr tuffy liner and tooks these off road again crazy fast. No throns through my tube.

You have 29x2.50 tires why didn’t you go for 29x2.20? Those are the stock tire size. I’m looking to get some hybrid tires for road use on my 2021 marlin 6 just like yours what do you recommend?

So I have 29×2, 3 Tires but the Hookworms are 29×2, 5 will they fit?

I have those maxxis on my bike but in size of 24 inches, they look pretty but the grip isn't good, and the other problem is heavy weight.
