Walt Disney World Vlog | Day 2 | Epcot's Festival of the Arts | January 2024 | Adam Hattan

Join my friends Max, Alex, Gary and I for a fun filled day at Epcot in Walt Disney World Florida, during Festival of the Arts! We check out some of the magical art, soak up the newly improved World Celebration music, ride some classic attractions, then head over to Disney Springs for a dinner review at the new Summer House on the Lake.

Our first full day in Walt Disney World starts out at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, where we take the Disney Transport bus over to Epcot. Once at Epcot, we start out by walking through Moana: Journey of Water, which was Gary's first time experiencing this attraction. It's then onto Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, before our friends Max and Alex join us for the magic! With them, we have a moo moo sharoo around the Creations Shop for a new MagicBand+ for Gary and to check out the new merchandise.

Whilst exploring Epcot's Festival of the Arts, we pop into the art stalls around the World Showcase, put ourselves in artwork picture frames, pick up some maple popcorn from Canada and I show you the snacks included with the Disney Dining Plan and how to use your credits wisely. Heading into the United Kingdom pavilion, we head to the back of the pavilion to meet Winnie the Pooh and browse the Rose & Crown merchandise in the shops.

Then the rain starts, and after a ride of Frozen Ever After, we're quick to buy umbrellas from the Mexico pavilion and bounce when we see the line for meeting Figment a bit too long. From Epcot, we travel to Disney Springs via Disney's Saratoga Springs. At Disney Springs, we pop into the M&M store and dine at the new Summer House on the Lake for dinner. There we give you a full review and let you know whether it was worth the money for us.

Back at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village, we have a very eventful evening when the fire alarm goes off! Then we manage to chill with our friends as we recap the day.

When my hubby and I had the dining plan years ago, we saved all our snack credits and used them in Epcot for Food & Wine at the booths.

It was the most valuable way to use the snack credits.

As a gluten-free diner, I was absolutely floored at the quality of Summer houses food. It was probably the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in years. All of the other options we had were quite good and exceptionally flavorful. I suppose for someone who can eat everything all the time that wouldn’t be much of abenefit, but for someone with limited diets, it was really really really good
