The 2023 BMW X1 stands as a versatile 5-seater SUV, offering both comfort and functionality.

Under the hood, you'll find a turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 16-valve Miller-cycle inline-4 engine, boasting an aluminum block and head, alongside port and direct fuel injection. With a displacement of 122 in3 (1998 cm3), this powerhouse delivers an impressive 241 horsepower at 4500 rpm, and a torque of 295 lb-ft at 1500 rpm.

Mated to the engine is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, ensuring smooth and efficient gear changes for a seamless driving experience.

The X1's chassis is equipped with a suspension setup of struts in the front and a multilink system in the rear. Braking power is provided by 13.2-inch vented discs in the front and 11.8-inch vented discs in the rear. The vehicle is fitted with Continental EcoContact 6Q tires, specifically 245/40R-20 99Y Extra Load MO rated, contributing to its steady road performance.

In terms of dimensions, the X1 boasts a wheelbase of 106.0 inches, a length of 177.2 inches, a width of 72.6 inches, and a height of 64.6 inches. Inside the cabin, passengers can enjoy a comfortable environment with 55 cubic feet of passenger volume in the front and 50 cubic feet in the rear. The cargo area also offers ample space, with 57 cubic feet of storage behind the front seats and 26 cubic feet behind the rear seats. With a curb weight of 3762 pounds, the X1 finds a balance between agility and substance.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the X1 offers an observed fuel economy of 23 miles per gallon. It's worth noting that the EPA estimates a combined fuel economy of 28 mpg, with 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.
