Without a doubt THE BEST Live Performance
of With a Little Help From My Friends. You feel it in your fingers and you feel it in your toes! You feel it in your soul!

This is flat out the best version, the back up singers are out of this world. Also looks like a LOT of folks are on acid and blown away!

Probably the best cover song of all time. Great performance.

Nobody elevated music from the Beatles like Joe Cocker did. He was amazing.

Gotta give it to Chris Stainton on the organ. How he played perfectly with two slags on either side of his bench—one half Luded Out—is amazing.

Must be an interesting feeling to have given one of the greatest live performances in history and having no recollection of it.

Don’t watch. You won’t be able to stop. Epic passion in a performance by all. Classic!

The tour didn't make a dime. The album made Joe Cocker a superstar, launched a bunch of careers and made Leon Russell a go-to producer.

I listen to acts from everything up to this day. This clip here IMO is the greatest performance ever recorded . It's a emotional rollercoaster. The whole ending section is so powerful. When it goes into triple screen - Rita Coolidge's mouth; the audience members with eyes closed; I wonder what ever became of them, how their loves went; watching Claudia watching Joe during his scream; the BU singers holding hands, yes it's hoakey, but great, the two drummers locked together; all the people at back of the stage clapping, no one's leaving.

I used to work a midnight shift at a rural ER and watched this clip over and over to help me stay awake in the wee hours. Then it was gone. Now its back. Woo-hoo! One of the greatest live performances EVER recorded. Nobody performing today can come even close to this.

This is what a real live performance is all about.
No backing tracks
No click tracks
No vocal Autotune
And of course a huge helping of real passion

Noboby, absolutely no-one, is creating music like this anymore. Musicianship of this level is gone, likely forever, and thank goodness it was captured and can be shared out like this. I wasn't even born during this show yet this music affects me. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like to be there, either at this show or others like it, during this time in history. Thank you for uploading it and sharing. My 12 year old son is moved by it too which just shows the power of this performance.
