I’m just an ordinary user. And for me, the notch has never been a real problem. And a little smaller notch will be an even smaller problem for me. If the camera is good and Face ID works well, I don’t care about the notch at all.

personally, i like the notch. ik this is an unpopular opinion but i find it visually pleasing. I love how the display is divided into two "smaller displays". to me, the notch is kinda like the display on the z flip (with less functionalities). The notch looks a lot better than a hole punch imo

16 to 18 mp should be it. The iPhone doesn’t need 48mp shooter. The more mega pixels the smaller they get and there are drawbacks to this.

I would rather have fingerprint under screen than any notch or hole punch.

Apple will never remove the notch completely just modify it like they did this year, they want their phones to be distinguishable as an iPhone and not look like every other Android carbon copy device and this being the first year of the reduced notch size it's safe to say it will be another 3 year cycle for it with the new notch size. And as far as USB-C is concerned it will never happen as well on the iPhone, Apple is all in on MagSafe and will remove the port first before ever adding USB-C just to spite the UK mandate push for all devices to be USB-C compliant. The fingerprint reader under the screen will never happen until they decide it would be beneficial since that would be a step back from the push for Face ID pre pandemic for Apple and now that the Apple Watch can unlock your iPhone while wearing a mask it's definitely not happening, classic Apple logic.
