Vaughan Gething’s explosive allegations before resigning as Welsh First Minister| Janta Ka Reporter

Vaughan Gething has quit as Welsh first minister only four months after being elected to this role. This was after his own Labour cabinet colleagues revolted against him.
He has denied allegations of wrongdoing. In an emotional speech in the Welsh parliament, he said, "My integrity matters, I have not compromised it.”

He also hinted that the colour of his skin may have played a role in his forced ouster.

After watching a doc about the recycling plant scandal in south Wales I was shocked at the extent of Gething's corrupt involvement. His siting of race as a reason for his unpopularity was cynical and shameful and speaks not of any racial oppression he has suffered but but of privilege and entitlement. He is a WEF man so just for that reason it's good he's gone.

Whether he is innocent or not is one question. But the fact he would not step-down when he lost a vote of confidence is enough to show the character of the man.
The fact he also played “the race card”, says it all.

Wales will be a more respected country without this man. I found it very difficult to believe what he said.

That's sad & disappointing in this day & age but it's completely understandable. I realised where politics stands when I saw all those who attended the NATO summit after our election

the expression on the face of the woman behind him said it all

What does looking like you have to do with it? This race card really sickens me

Haven't we seen this all before? The same pride, the same denial of accountability? Down to the very look of the eyes, the turn of the face and the body, the attitude. We saw this in Scotland with Humza Yousaf.

If you go into politics with a grudge, with a chip on your shoulder, and with the conscious intention of representing one group, instead of the nation, you set yourself up for divisiveness and catastrophe.

I've no doubt Gething and Humza suffered growing up. But so does everyone. Their suffering isn't special. Yes, they were made to feel different, but unfortunately they've been convinced, as a result, _that they are different when they're not._ They've partly bought the narrative that separates them and alienates them further from the people who rejected them.

Probably best thing. He was accused of something very serious. If he was innocent, he should have remained but he chose to step down before it got too hot in the kitchen. Who knows?

Another failure blaming everyone else for his demise. An absolute nobody who thought he was somebody.

When they state they are innocent are always guilty in the end
