Everything we could’ve had

-Change weather
-all previous suits form the last games
-Boss rush mode (a constant boss mode)
-multiple symbiote colours other than black and white
-not having a purple tint for the symbiote tendrils when using the original symbiote suit
-not choosing which parrying system you use
-Symbiote surge/rage mode suit
-cant change peters voice lines for symbiote ones
-no web wings change of colour
-no car stopping (pressing square)
-no DLC’s (the first game had the dlc’s out within a month of the games release)
-no extra challenges or mini games
-no choosing web colour maybe i want some white webs on my symbiotes or i want miles having black webs
-no switching from just anti venom abilites to normal venom abilites (they kept it anti venom but changed the colour)
-no miles suit styles for that end game suit
-no harder gamemodes (a difficulty harder than ultimate)
-no 100% finish suit

i was hoping we’d get the suits that were still missing from the original game.

Crimes are still boring as hell
No rainy night weather
No symbiote finishers
Cant change the parry style
Cant set the web/dash and jump/ui color
Your suit doesnt change when activating surge in ng+
Black raimi suit is still treated as a regular red suit
Some suits are bugged like the tasm suit
Glitches and performance issues
No symbiote voice lines

Yeah besides the added stuff the update is pretty dissapointing

There needs to be more crimes. I can only keep doing the same 5 crimes for so long until it gets boring. There is some good and also some bad with this update.

Batman arkham series easily solved the no content issue by having AR challenges for stealth and combat. It gave you a best time, 3 challenges to complete and had leaderboards. Might be too late for this game but would love to see an interpretation of this in Spider-Man 3.

my favorite suit is the Big Time stealth suit, in the comics it was green, red and blue. they could have added it to the game with the suit color variations but they totally missed it

Yes, disappointed is not the word…I’m fed up with the “urban youth” crap…like all the suits they give miles are lame as hell…

Ofcourse it's disappointing, 2 god awful new suits, no new dlc, the time of day doesn't allow us to choose weather conditions, ultimate levels take the piss to upgrade, destroyed the amazing Spiderman 2 suit. New game plus straight up should have been on release but to take 5 months. It's the long wait for features that should have been day 1 now because of how long this took to come out the "hype"/ drive to go through it again has died.

I wish the Ultimate levels were like the Superior Spider-Man effect in the 1st game where you get +1 to health and damage. Extra health to deal with those big symbiotes is needed

The quality of life elements are what I expect. However, they should have been available at launch rather than releasing an unfinished game to grab awards and boost console sales.

The new symbiot suit styles are dope!

The new suits are pure trash.

Looking forward to story DLC and I hope they are good and long.

Story is still solid even with acts 2 & 3 being rushed. Gameplay is still epic

I really wish the Symbiote surge mode still had us change into the Symbiote suit. Imagine if there was a menu bar where you can customize that, so that whenever you use the surge, you change into the selected suit/variation.

Imagine if they also added a web of shadows mechanic where you can quick change into a Symbiote suit (people have pointed out it could use the same toggle as Miles’s camouflage).

While I am happy we can finally choose which costume we can use in the main story symbiote missions, it’s unfortunate that when you get to the mission where Peter first received the symbiote, whatever costume you select beforehand stays the same. Your red costume won’t seamlessly transition into the normal Insom black suit like it does in normal story. And it won’t transform into a black suit of your own choosing. You still need to select the suit you want between cutscenes.

I think Spider-Man Miles Morale had the best NG+, by locking the last skills and upgrades for the gadgets behind NG+.

I'd like to add something. They didn't plan the amount of tokens needed to upgrade everything very well. The city tokens needed to upgrade suit tech are only collected through certain missions, and once you complete those missions, you can't get city tokens anymore. In ng+, all the new stuff needs a ridiculous amount of tokens to unlock them. I completed both the regular game and ng+ completely, and I have 5 suit tech upgrades I can't unlock because I don't have enough city tokens for it.

The fact the Raimi black suit isn’t recognized as a symbiote suit still when it comes to webbing and using the traversal boosts

Only thing i dont like is, that new game plus removes the suit changing stuff, so like u could have a normal suit equipped and when peter gets the Symbiote for example, he'll still be wearing the normal suit, and the parry being the Symbiote always in ng plus is also frustrating, but other than that i think it's a pretty good update
