When Lights Go Dim

Loss is life... I hear it all the time from people who have never lost a thing...

I am not the one I was... there's no smile in me. There's no hope to lighten the cross. All the blood I've bled, all the tears I've shed only grew the pain within... I'll cry when lights go dim...

Time goes by but darkness stays alive... only shadows of my memories warm my heart. Deep inside the passion had to die cause memories they kept tearing me apart.

Hell is being all alone... when my broken mind starts digging my broken soul to bring those thoughts alive I have tried to hide despite of pain taking control... Now that sorrow is my home...

I have learned what I've become no more has a place in the sun. So I hide in the dark and make myself at home.
Never thought that loss and grief were the only things life held for me. But here I am, willing to let go.

Here I stand a shadow of a man once proud and strong, all in life to win.
