Most people pay an arm and a leg to go to animation school for 4 years. You got paid by your youtube channel, and ended up with a whole short film that you made on your own. Real win! By the end of my 4 years of 3D college my demoreel was just a bunch of stills. And I paid $60, 000

I made it because I was playing with Blender to learn how to use it, and must to mention that I tried some of your clay textures tutorials but didn't fit with the style and I sweat a lot with textures and rig. When you were talking about the story circle I fully thought you were talking about you and your project and not the character. Long technical projects like this definitely seem to have a long stretch of going through the "Trial, " "Find, " and "Suffer" phases, lol. It's interesting how the cycle seems to apply to your own life story as well. Very good insight and really impressive what you've accomplished!

Waig this 5 year project took 10k hours, because that would mean a fulltime job 38h a week. Amazing job!
I always thought you already were an animator when you started Blender or that you came from a different app. What is your background then?
