Finally a salesman that actually KNOWS the product he's selling; yippee!!! This looks like a great line of speakers. It looks like EV is back in the game! :D

Excellent video. This EV guy is a good salesman too. I'm thinking about buying these from agiprodj soon.

TO AGIPRODJ; Those are some very cool speakers that the 2 of you mentioned on this video and it makes me want to grab a pair for my-self so I could experience the sound quality those speakers have to deliver. I also wanted to say in this virtual letter that I currently own a sound system of my own but its much more older than the equipment that I saw on this video and I would love to get tips on selling my used equipment from true professional sales personal from AGIPRODJ or from an experienced DJ who has been buying sound system equipment for years. And what I mean by used equipment is the fact that my gear is from the year 2004-2005 and it works great and it sounds good and it also looks very nice for its years of me having it in comparison to other used sound systems I saw that are from a newer year than mine because I know that I didn't really used my equipment a whole lot. Soo any-tips that I get on selling my gear would be excellent and fine by me but now to get back to the EV loudspeakers, I think they look very elegant for what people pay for them plus if they have a lot of sound power, that's perfect for the stage. Thanks for reading - Anthony.

I understand your concern with price. Please keep in mind that there are Djs ( like myself) that have 4 EAW subs & 4 EAW tops powered by two I-tech 8000's and to date have yet to be impressed by any powered speakers. I would really love to see a 3 way 12"  box but I am a little different.  I use things like delay more for when I have speakers over 150ft from me so I delay my wired system to match the wireless signal.   I use a drive rack with built in presets for EAW so I don't have to know all the geek stuff.  So in a nutshell - I like everything dialed in to match subs. What is really funny is when I see a DJ spend 300 per light * 20 wash lights and still use a crappy EON system.   That is what I call fluff!   If you charge 495 per wedding, then by all means rock out those 400 speakers but when you charge 2K per event and show up with something you can get at Radio shack / I would be embarrassed.  But that is just me I am sure.

I have the EV ZLX-15" What settings should I use on the back to get the best power/sound out of it and keep them on limit? I use them for karaoke, I connect them to a behringer 18" powered 14000w. Also use behringer xenyx 14chan board.

Brilliant Review love these speakers, just wish they didn't I use the Master Volume on ODB, and my mixer DYNACORD Newest small one 9kg, I use the slider on ODB to, and set my gains and I also set the gain structure with the gains, I tested these the other day with the dealer I bought them off trying to show him that they are clipping, we played music loud in a confined small space, they wouldn't clip, but yet at my gigs they have been clipping, with thermal coming on and the graph flashing on the back saying thermal and sound dropping, anyone help here at AGIPRODJ ? Obviously with my vocals going through the horns the amp is going to work much harder to drive the tweeter and horn etc,

Can you connect a mobile device (iPod, Tablet, etc...) to these speakers?

As I was watching this video I was thinking to myself "man this sounds great!" And then I looked up the price. Maybe it's worth it for the quality, maybe it's not, but there's no way in hell I'm spending $1200 on a single 12" cab when I could get a ZLX instead for 1/3 the price, which still sounds amazing and has most of the features that these cabinets offer.

Hi, just a quick question. I've narrowed down my options to 2. Which would you recommend? EV ETX or QSC KW? Thank You very much!

More ego products. I just gotta have it that is until the next model comes out. And yes it will be the best ever and of course it will cost even more. And isn't that the point? The next version will be so smart that nobody else can make a better speaker. If this is your thing then go for it but if it ain't broke then leave it alone. Just keep in mind they won't make you a better dj or musician you'll just have lighter pockets. But props to agi pro those guys do rock. One Love, Dj Malarky out

how much louder are the etx-12p then the elx112p? is it worth the upgrade? the only reason I would upgrade is if its louder then my elx112p's. I don't care about all the extra features that the etx line comes with

All these powered speakers are nice but I own a pair of EV S18-3 that are almost 30 years old and a pair of Cerwin Vega V35d's almost 25 years old and a peavey 4080 amp.. there is and never will be any substitute for passive speakers.. DJ MARKY MARK San Francisco, Cali..
