Maybe the Phillies needed the Brewers to choke a game away. It's gotta be a helpless feeling when you can't win a game and the team behind you can't lose one. Blowing that game against Miami last night was a body blow to the Brewers. I know I didn't see it coming.

Thank goodness for the Washington Nationals. Phils are 12 games over .500 (84-72); and they just happen to be 12 games over .500 against the Nats (14-2). 3 more against the Nats. Just maybe sweeping the Nats and getting one of those games in Houston will be enough.

5:23 I'm a Phillies fan but how is that a balk I looked it up and it said "when a pitcher makes an illegal motion on the mound that the umpire deems to be deceitful to the runner" how is a bad pitch deceitful to the runners

Castillanos wears a catchers leg guard for batting. I also don’t believe his swing changes no matter what the pitch is. I’m not trying to hate but I’m just confused. What happened to his swing?

We have the tie breaker on the Brewers and Padres. The Padres have a tough run in.
