Coming from powerlifting myself: my God, this sport is fucking badass. Wish the 488kg total clips were here from Lasha just today, that man is insane. My favorite part here though is where Lu Xiaojun literally fucked up his back, then proceeds to get a freaking PR RIGHT AFTER. seriously man WHAT IS THAT GUY?!!!

Fact last clip after grizzly is a german man who lost his wife in a car accident during training for the 2018 Olympics, he said to his wife that he would win the gold. He did it doing his PR on his last lift if I remember correctly. He just wanted to show a photo of her to the world as he had kept his promise. Really sad story

To fully understand 3:52, everyone did a full clean just to get under the bar at a competition amongst the best of the best yet he just decided to do a powerclean on his first lift (spoiler: yes, he won in his weight class).
