In 1969 the USA sent a rocket to the moon, the Apollo 11 mission. Since then there have been countless conspiracies surrounding the whole mission. Did we go to the moon? In this series I will be deep diving into the moon landing hoax, and trying to find what is real and what is just popular misinformation.

Excellent video Dan, I always felt you could do these types of videos, it was also fun seeing one of my favorites, Simon Whistler, who is pretty good, even though he isn't a scientist or historian or anything, he's just a guy, and he doesn't even do his own research, he has people do it for him and even write the script for him, except when he decides to go off script, which he does a lot, and gives his opinion! There is another guy who I watch all the time too, Joe Scott who as he will always point out, he is also not a scientist or anything, he just likes science and history, so he likes to inform others of those things for his channel! So my point is there is nothing wrong with someone who isn't some kind of profesional in whatever it is talking about this sort of thing, especially when we have people on the other side of these subjects who talk and talk and they're not either, but that it doesn't stop them from talking about whatever it is, and most of them have clearly NOT done any research at all!

But with those photos with the mountains, the mountain on the right, actually isn't identical, because the lines kinda going down it aren't the same, they're different from then the ones on the other photo! So I really don't get why anyone would say otherwise myself! And the one with the rock, like you said it's a copy of the original, and most likely the C stands for COPY, they just didn't write out the word! Again don't understand why no one seems to get that, well the believers don't seem to understand it anyway, lol!

Also though not every person who believes the moon landing was faked are also Flat Earthers too, but I do know that those Flat Earthers also believe it was faked too, because it fits into their weird ideas about the world being flat, since they also think the sun and moon isn't really what we've been told they are, I mean many think they are even holograms, which makes one wonder, exactly how old they think the earth is or more like how young and for how long has the sun and moon been holograms. Now I hope one day you will get into that too, but that will be a deep rabbit hole to crawl into, considering how much truly weird and bizarre things they say to try to get people to believe it's true, plus a lot of their shit comes from religion, especially Christians! Heck a lot of Jewish people are scientists who don't believe any of that stuff, who believe rightfully that the world is not flat and in the moon landing!

Anyway I will be waiting for the 3rd installment in this series! 😉

The one question I have never had answered is why, why would we lie about the moon landing? What would we gain from lying?

My god! Just listening to that list made me facepalm so hard I now have a black eye. All of those things have been explained over and over again, and so unfortunately, no matter how much you explain these things, it won't change anyone's mind. They don't *want* to believe it. It's like a religious faith to them.

To quote Tim Minchin, "we'd as well be [fifteen minutes] back in time for all the chance you'll change your mind."

The most shocking to me is how people don't understand the shadows of poles and astronauts and rocks not being in the same direction. Too many people don't understand how camera lens work, how every parallel line in an image, going away from the viewer would meet at a point.
