I know that Polish is very difficult language, but lector could be check correct pronunciation Polish names at least in Google Translate.

As for the food - you can find the pierogi i bigos in some Polish shops in major cities in US, for sure you'll find those in New York and Chicago. Both are eaten hot - pierogi you need to cook in salted water, just like you'd do with the potatoes and you cook them for the few minutes, until the doug is cooked. Bigos is a stew that is a perfect dish for cold winter days - it's hearty, slightly sour and sweet at the same time, with a lot of flavour from the sausages & other meats.
And I know the cabage is disregarded by many but when it's used as a base for a stew, it gives it incredible flavour.
