Why is this map like this ?

I get Treyarch is trying to be creative and unique but what's going on with the two latches? No other zombies map has ever done that? Realistically, they could've just had one latch giving power to everything in the vicinity...

You give me your input on the matter

Hope you're doing fantastic! Appreciate everyone of you :)

See you tomorrow!

I think white cliff games’ video essay summarised well. In this map they tried to force cooperation between players since the meta at the time was for every player to find their own place to train with zero interactions between them. So my guess is just like the PaP in this map, they were trying to force players to flip the switch at the same time in order to turn on the power, but decided to scrap the idea in the end for whatever reason.

At least they aren't on the opposite sides of the map, that would've been very annoying. I don't mind the 2 power switches, it's better than wasting your time to build the power and watch a mini "cutscene" for the Avocado to emerge.

I guess they wanted to think outside the box in this map - those two switches activate the waterfalls which start rolling those wooden mills, acting like "turbines". So this map runs on water produced electricity apparently - makes kinda sense if its in the middle of a jungle

Shang is the only map that has 2 power switches.

Makes even less sense that there right beside each other.

Perhaps it has to do with the theme of the map, a less advanced electrical system in the jungle that needs two forms or energy. Or maybe it has to do with the idea of mirroring that is used in the Easter egg with the eclipse world. You could even argue that Brock and Garry being stuck in a time loop also compliments this.

Jungle power station, similar to Jurassic park 1 (there were like 12 switches)

Ones for the power and ones for the water

I guess it’s like this since this is the jungle and there’s no real electricity so they use water however there 2 locations to where the water needs to be released, I guess mainly for the waterfall and then for the little water slide. I don’t remember if the geysers are automatically on or not but that’s what I feel, although this might also ty to trick the player to forgetting the other switch, worked on me before.

It's so there's a 1 power switch only speedrun category

"However, this was the first and last map Treyarch did something like this"

Ok how does that make this not stupid or pointless 💀

The only thing I can think of that is as weird as this is the ability to turn the power off in Tranzit. Though unlike Shang, the ability to turn off the power in Tranzit has a propose, which is the Easter Egg(s).

This is the only map with two power switches?

Does water buckets and a power switch count?

*After watching this video and thoroughly analyzing it, I took two noticeable things from it, just two.*
*1. This video is stupid.*
*And my last point. (In my professional opinion I'd say it's the most important!)*
*2. This video is pointless.*

That’s a cool little more realistic feeling and a tip for life just say what’s on your chest and let peoples opinions form who cares if you “ hating” it’s your opinion and only yours
