Similar to how Pixar doesn’t need John Lasseter considering he stopped directing films after Cars 2… for OBVIOUS reasons and only stayed on as executive producer for remainder of the Pixar films during their Post-Golden Era until he left in 2018 when his “toxic behavior toward women” became more public and I say for the better if it means directors like Enrico Casarosa and Domee Shi were able to make their films without John’s executive interference.

Even if he contributed nothing to the scriptwriting process, his voice and characterization are still very important to the show. There are countless examples of a show simply collapsing on itself when the lead is gone. (The Office, That 70s Show, Two and a Half Men, etc..)

It seems like a cope from the R&M team to keep people from jumping ship. I don’t believe the show will be the same without Roiland especially considering the show’s best episodes were in the first and second season.

What about Solar Opposites? That show is crazy and off the wall, heh heh, there are certain parts that roiland must’ve had SOME control over. He must’ve at least had a little interest in that show to stick around. He could’ve just abandoned Rick and Morty to stay with Mike McMahon and not make an ass of himself as you put it. Is that what led to his domestic abuse allegations? What a fuckin disappointment. Can’t he have just one good thing in his life?

If they don't at least apologize to him after him coming up innocent then I say HE DOESNT NEED THEM. People have been saying they don't like the direction the show is being taken in for a while WE KNOW WHY THE SHOW IS KIND OF CREATIVLY SHIT Justin isn't doing anything is it you think season 1 is so rewatchable....it was when they all were in the zone and Justin was allowed to come in and literally get black out drunk sometimes just to get the voice right. The show will NEVER be good again without him. I'm dying to know what he's worming on now.

I didn't really get into the series but I liked it somewhat and I see why people like it more than me but yeah the guy was no longer going along with the series after they stopped letting him do his edgy material and just became a issue that needed to go. I hope the new actors who will replace him will be better players and not become a issue like how he turned out. They don't need him and it's best they move on. 📺 🎨 🎭👨 👎

I wouldn't be surprised if we were to learn that they already had some other voice actor(s) do fill-in work for Roiland anyway.

Watch it turn out someone like James Adomian has been doing half of Rick and/or Morty's lines and no one even noticed.
