As an older brother who also has a younger sibling who’s had more than a few life threatening scares that resulted in hospital visits, I feel for you dude. I was also diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma around that time in life and it is a serious demotivator/stressor. Please make it abundantly apparent to your brother that there are Counseling options available if he feels like it. I don't know if it will help but as a kid I had lots of doctor appointments so when my mom asked me how I was handling it I just told her "its just a few more doctor appointments." It really is a lot more than that and I can assume being that age he will only try to hide his true emotions about it so please make sure he knows there are people who have beat it and continue living. It truly does suck to hear stuff like this but I hope your brother doesn't have much chemo and radiation to do.

My father was diagnosed with Lymphoma a number of years ago and I'm happy to say he's now an old man in his 70s. Your absolutely right that it's one of the most treatable forms of cancer. It still sucks, obviously, but it's a situation that can improve more easily than other scenarios.
