In this short we explain how not to answer in Java interview when questioned about What is Java?

Generally freshers memorize the year when Java was created, the name of creator James Gosling and the company which released Java and mention that its a very old language.
But when we are giving interview for a Java developer role then we need to show our love for Java and need to mention its features and how they can be useful to a Java interviewer.
The answer can be re-phrased as:
Java is a high-level, object-oriented programming language that was developed by Sun Microsystems (now owned by Oracle Corporation) in the mid-1990s. It was designed to be platform-independent, meaning that Java programs can run on any system that has a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed, regardless of the underlying hardware and operating system.
Then some important features can be named:
Object-Oriented, Platform Independence, Garbage Collection, Exception Handling, Standard Built-in Libraries, Multithreading
