🧨[101] Common Mistakes MANAGERS make: DELEGATION or WEAPONIZED incompetence?

Показать описание
I wish management school teaches the fine line between delegation and weaponized incompetence.
Lesson #1: Giving a task having no idea how to finish by myself is not me delegating. It's me asking for help.
Lesson #2: Giving a task and calling every hour to check "if the person needs help" or to ask for a status update is not called delegating. It's called micromanagement.
Lesson #3: Giving a task we know it's impossible to finish within the deadline has nothing to do with delegation. That's simply avoiding responsibility.
