Why such an obviously lousy quality, and why now? The game was released in 2009, if a film was to be made about it, should have been around 2014-15. And let’s state the obvious: there have been already so many fan-made projects around Minecraft, like “noob adventures” and “mob squad” that are clearly better.

Even though it looks weird, I definitely would want to see The Minecraft Movie especially with Jack Black as Minecraft Steve which is pretty cool.🙂😁

Honestly I have no problems with the trailer except the first scene of the entire area because there is no shadows cast from the characters. The CGI looks fine and I don’t see what’s the problem with blocky characters with humans. You can’t have the humans be blocky too because that would just feel like Minecraft story mode more than a movie and you can’t have the blocky characters smooth because then it wouldn’t look like Minecraft. Also, Jack Black is awesome so it doesn’t really bother me that he’s in a lot of movies now.

Obviously: The Movie is about 4 people somehow ENTERING the game... meeting a man who CLAIMS to be steve, but who could likely be just someone else trapped in the game... and the glowing blue cube the boy is holding is probably connected to ALL of this
