I have always worked with patterns but never made my own. Where I worked, we had a person who designed and cut, we sewed the garment. A designer never shared his knowledge or mentored anyone. You are an incredible instructor. Thank you!

Wow, so helpful! I don't have a dress form, or muslin, and draping is probably far off for me, but this tutorial makes it seem like something I will be able to do! I had actually wondered how you keep it symmetrical. Turns out, you just do one side and flip over the pattern paper/fabric haha. Which sounds like a much better idea!

i’m a self taught seamstress. in your video you said “add seam allowance”. my question - i work with 4 way stretch fabric (spandex). should i allow seam allowance or not? what’s are the draping tips while working with stretch fabric
