No, wildwood classes probably won't be back this patch IMO. The language implies that they're working on them for a later league. I could be wrong though.

Maybe each individual legacy mechanic returning for this league will be rare to encounter, but there will be exactly one of them in every map you run.

What I would do in GGG place is use the wildwood ascendancies, and expand on them, so that all the special things from Sanctum (item slot), Kalandra (OP rings), Weapon passive trees are accessible by taking the appropriate ascendancy. Meaning you can have any of those OP things, but only one of them at a time by choosing appropriate ascendancy.

my assumption when they say they have other plans for that 'content' they dont even mean the ascendancies themselves, but rather working some of those ideas into other ascendancy reworks or updates to the blood magic keystone, bringing back the characters in another league, etc etc

LoK needs to be T17 or at least a unique map. And getting at least some limited forge capabilities would be fantastic.

D4 is not so bad with its updates it has improved, it's just that GGG is already on another level that you can't compare anymore haha
