I've been here a number of times. You can get here by bus from Istanbul. (About 12 hours, but the buses are clean and comfortable.) If you get the chance, don't miss it.

I had the pleasure of visiting Goreme as a sophomore in HS when my father was stationed and Incirlik AB, just west of Adana.  As a military brat I always loved seeing new places.  Goreme was one of the most memorable places I ever saw.

I happened to visit Goreme in 2007. It's a most awesome place in the world. I wish I could go there again. Absolutely fantastic!

Spectacular footage and balloonist over one of the greatest views on the Planet Earth. I would say more but I love to be modest about the History and achievements of Humans.

I looked very carefully and paused the video number of time and it is clearly visible that some of the man-made structured were carved not during the recent few thousand years due to the aging on them (can't be reached within such a short time span) and due to the additional secondary thick sediment-like covering in some rooms (similar are found in caves and take millions of years to form). So it really seems to me that the original tunnels were built millions of years ago. The additional modern looking windows and Cristian paintings clearly show much less erosion and building style so much be much more recent.

So easy to see the water; were it was and now. Life soon gone as we know it!

This very nice informative documentary should be with ethnic Anatolian music and more vividly narrated. I've already been in Cappadocia and wish to go there again. A must see!!

More interesting in Assassin's Creed. Maybe if the music was different,  I felt like I was in Versailles Palace at a masquerade pinching a brandy glass between two fingers while trying to muzzle load a flintlock pistol with the other hand so I could paint the wall with my brains. I want to play AC Revelations again just so I can blow up the gunpowder stockpile in Cappadocia and see the residents run around choking on the smoke.

After 13 minutes I have stopped. I am afflicted with sensory overload. I'll come back another time

Too bad the video gives the very very incorrect explanation as to the formation of the area. But that's par for the course when told by modern day quack-a-demia.

Her voice is annoying, wrong pronunciation for all the places, the classical music doesn't match the location . They really need to research all subjects before making this. There are So many mesmerizing Anatolia music For this !
