Thanks for the repost and at least the attempt on it... there must be a simple solution... like a different cable that needs to be purchased or something... retro Ralph I know did this to stock with a 19 inch.... but he never got bk to me or showed the detail in (stripping of the monitor down), to see how he hooked up the actual wiring..

You sir, are an arcade hero. If I could buy you a beer I would. Thank you for making this video and disproving ArcadeModUp's false claims that this monitor will work with stock PCBs (and in the process risking your Final Fight PCB). If it won't work with Gen 1 cabs, I imagine it would face the same problems with a Gen 3 cab.

I bought a monitor recently to use with a House of the Dead mod, using Big Buck parts, so I don't need to worry about this problem. I'm going to use a Wii or mini pc. I'm trying to make the mod look like the House of the Dead 1up prototype you leaked in 2021. I wanted the extra 2 inches of monitor for gun games. I can live with the 17" for joystick games. But Killer Instinct Pro which I have but didn't build yet, has a 19" BOE monitor.

Simple solution = Raspberry Pi with RetroPie installed, and call it a day!!!

Make yourself an ArcadeDoubleUp with your leftovers.

this doesn't with stock PCB due to timing hard coded on the stock board and the geekworm board (that goes between the LVDS board and the stock pcb) having a setting that won't match the PCB. GameroomSolutions should have fully tested this before they claimed it would work with stock PCB.
