In college, we studied abroad in Madrid! 💜💜 I loved the food so much! One thing that surprised me when I first visited Spain was the lack of spice! My roommate and I had to go buy Cholula 😂 I really do miss el menu del dia & churros con chocolate ☺👌🏻 Can't wait to go back!

I tried most all of these when i was in Madrid. I didn't try that Pisto manchego. Not a fan of tomato based stews. I like the tapas like the iberico chorizo. like 32

Croquetas are made with bechamel (not potatoe) . FYI (And tks for sharing your experience) You must try : boquerones en vinagre, callos a la madrileña, torreznos & mollejas ( next time) ;)

Minute 7:45 The potatoes omelet, also known as Spanish omelet, is best served warm on a toast, or wrapped up in a sandwich. Put it in the oven for 5 minutes and it is ready. There are tutorials on Youtube on how to cook the perfect potatoes omelet. It is very comforting and easy to make.

Note to self: do not watch Bucket List Travellers' food videos BEFORE eating! 😜 We're pescatarian these days, so a few of these items are off our list - but the croquettas look amazing, and we assume there are meatless options for them. (?) We'd do the shrimp though! The Pincho De Tortilla looks fab - surprising it's served cold though. The potatas bravas look interesting, and the garlic prawns look amazing! We especially love how your reviews are HONEST, for better or worse! Technically, we probably could survive on those churros con chocolate. 😜
