Hey Andrew! I wanted to stop by and thank you for all you've taught me. I was so SO nervous for my job interview last week. I watched your videos religiously for 3-4 days during any free time I had. I walked into the interview confident and afterwards thought it went "okay" (okay in the sense of I could've said this or that when I reflected back on the interview). ANYWAY..Yesterday (1 week later) I got a call from the recruiter offering me the job saying all of the interviewees (4 total) thought I brought a very calm and positive energy to the interview. They offered me a significant amount more than I am making in my current position. I am so excited!! Thank you!!

Andrew,
Good morning i mentioned this last week but you didn't see it since time was of the essense. Due to stress i bombed the first interview, it's okay i wasn't too fond of the company; it was a learning lesson for the next. The 2nd time around, i was better at communicating after relistening to every video you have on the Job hunt process. Had the best interview of my life, was offered the job for 40+% more than my current salary for the same position in less than 24hrs. Thank you so much! I really, REALLY appreciate it. Planning on attending some of your bootcamps classes in the near future. God bless you!

Hi Andy
It was a great pleasure on youtube live today. As instructed by kara I am doing comment here
" My session was terminated during live video but i have to ask you 1 very very important question please reply me "in that 4 sentence cover letter discuses in your video do you recommend that i will tell hiring person about my career change because my experience is not relevant to that job"?

Your reply will be highly appreciated

Good day,
This is not relevant to your current topic, however, I applied for a position that was posted by a recruiter. I know I would be a perfect fit for this position, when I met with the recruiter he also agreed my background would be perfect for this position. It was an impromptu meeting - I had on shorts and a T-shirt. Well my question is would it be inappropriate for me to reach out to the company - I followed up with the recruiter and now he’s not responding at all. I am self employed and did well with my company, recruiter was excited to know I was self employed and thought this would be a great selling point for this position. Should I call the company and circumvent the recruiter- I did not sign a disclosure or anything. Thanks for responding.

Hi Andy, I have a question regarding my new job and going from temp (no benefits) to perm (full benefits) and how do I push that conversation when mngmt is swamped due to record high production months. And simultaneously negotiate a higher salary. In addition to record high months, my mngrs, boss has been out of the office for the past 5 weeks and his hands have been tied. I totally appreciate his dilemma, but when I agreed to take the temp position (at a low wage), I told him I could only do this short term. I don’t want to be a whiner, but I need this to move faster. Orig estimate of temp time was 30 days. I am now at 60 days.
....meanwhile I am turning down perm jobs with full benefits. I really like my company and believe it’s a great fit and I want this to work.
Thank you!
