LUNA - Native/DSP Switching like Pro Tools Carbon & HDX! UAD LUNA 1.4 Update

LUNA can now switch between DSP and Native like Pro Tools Carbon and HDX!
One small difference in the LUNA 1.4 released today is Native has been re-termed to "CoreAudio".

I have a simple two mic track for acoustic and vocal. Added a unison preamp and added a reverb simple but I get an echo affect that I can’t get rid of. My computer is mac and isn’t slow. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. It’s easier to just use console and send to logic. No issue there since I’m monitoring from console.

I’m having trouble where my uad-2 plugins in pro tools artist are slowing down my vocals when I start mixing them I usually put delay compensation on and it helps but out of no where when I do it now it slows down the audio even more I really need help because I love the sound of my uad plugins

Hi Matt, I can't wrap my head around the fact that you were using the plugins during tracking and still running them again after tracking. Isn't that double processing? I also don't think that all plugins are suitable for tracking and so I see this "tracking with plugins" to be over hyped.

I don't get it . Why would I want to change? I have a solo, I thought I was getting the same quality out of my UAD2 plugins when I run natively ? I have a M1 Mac mini with only my 3 DAWS on it so I have a lot more resources Natively .Would I have to shut any other UAD2 ones if I don't have enough DSP. If I went back to the DSP mode?You just started answering my question in the video but I still don't follow why we would want to do it. Are the DSP versions of the UAD2 plugins better? So if I don't own say the 1073 in UAD2 but have it in Spark will it still change over? Because my UAD2 plugins work in Core Audio. I'm a little confused with this one. Only been in the digital realm for a couple years. Thanks . Sorry for all the questions.

So - I haven’t been able to afford to get into the UAD world yet, but if I picked up a satellite would that allow me this kind of flexibility or is an Apollo interface still needed to track with DSP?

Is that type of "Load Balancing" exclusive to Luna or can it be used at all for other DAWs?
Also, I've considered Luna, but do they allow any 3rd party Plugins?

Does this hybrid mode works on UAD satellites? With no Apollo interfaces ?
