I used to have a Light Bee and can definitely say the stock range estimates are deceiving and kinda useless. The best range estimate is going to be XX range for XX speed. You can proably make it 60 miles on a Sur Ron at 5mph. You can make it about 15-20 miles if you are riding full throttle and having fun.

So to anyone wanting to plan routes, you need to ride at XXmph/kmh for a good distance to see how your battery level changes and the range you get. Elevation is important. Easiest way is to run it in eco and see how the battery drains. Then run it all out and see how it drains. That's pretty much how I rode. In eco, conserving battery, just chillin going for the long haul, or all out rips and steady cruising about 25/30mph.

I have commuted on a Onewheel and have friends that do. You just gotta calculate your range and plan to charge.

It all depends on the speed you drive. I'd say 15 to 50 miles depending on if it's flat out the whole time or just cruising at 15 mph.

I'm gonna predict around 35 miles on the MX track... and 50 miles on the slow speed open road run. Will vary massively depending on the throttle levels.

Weight is a huge factor,
I am at 190lbs and I would say I average 20 miles on the surron light bee and my daughter is 100lbs and she is probably right at the 40 mile spec range.
