My Grandad passed away due to Dementia. His last clear day was the day my grandmother cooked his favorite meal. He sat at the kitchen table smiling and said "I always loved the smell of your lasgna cooking. Honey, youre too good for me."

Grandma couldnt finish cooking. The rest of the family had to finish the meal. Grandma just sat next to Grandad and cried. One of my most bittersweet memories.
