Best of Drift Cars at Festival of Speed 2019: 2JZ Supra MK5, Mad Mike' Lamborghini, GT86 Ferrari V8

The 2019 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed introduced "The Arena", an area where public was able to witness drift cars shredding tyres and stunt drivers all day long and not just during the two daily hillclimb runs. Many famous drifters were there for this awesome occasion. Enjoy this video I made where you can see all of them in action both on the hillclimb course and in the Arena for "The Drift Competition".

The thing I love most about the noise of drift cars is the constant, smooth wavering of the rpms as the driver feathers the throttle. It's not something you hear in racing quite so much but in drifting your foot needs to be constantly making tiny, smooth adjustments to the throttle, so you get this unique sound of the engine constantly on the very edge, but it's hanging there, trying to keep its balance, never just taking off with its foot down or braking suddenly, like in a race car.
