Their is a mistake: Hastar was punished by other gods, the goddess loved him so much . So she is protecting him in her Womb.

It's a great movie with a great message. Some fantastic cinematography, acting. They took 7 years to make it.

The prologue of the Hastar being a god cannot be destroyed. And Mother God had many other children. At the starting of the movie when Hastar wanted gold and food he successfully collected all the golds but when he tried to steal food he was obstructed by his God siblings. And due to this a war waged between hastar and his brothers and sisters. Each time they strike hastar, hastar would actually become pieces and turn into new hastars but will not die as he is a God himself. But Mother God appears and cursed hastar that he will always starve and nobody will worship him. But If someone is offering food to him He can eat... But due to affection of being the first child mother God was forced take hastar inside her womb just to avoid any upcoming war between his brothers and hastar. I think Mother's heart and affection that she will only allow herself to feed hastar and no ordinary being. Hastar also can't defy his mother but he can attack other people in so that his starvation would be shared among his disciples. Panduram's father would take only one piece of food so out of millions of hastar who are created due to war, only one hastar would eat it.that doesnot guarantee that previous hastar would be same as the current one. Thay are basically part of hastar that are developed into hastar. But when Panduram greedily took so many pieces of food, out of millions of hastars 20-30 hastars came to take 20-30 shares of the food(one each). But that doesn't mean that one hastar has the limitation to eat one piece of food as he was hungry for thousands of years. What Panduram did was wrong as he offered so many pieces of food at the same time. If he had only given one at a time then one hastar would have came and eaten all the pieces of food. But it's only a theory and even if he managed to get the loinscloth of hastar it doesn't mean that the loinscloth would provide infinite gold coins as it's not the God himself and Hastar was a greedy God and he wouldnot have given away that gold so easily....

Let me answer to those who are asking:
How hastar can eat dough made of flour but can't touch flour? And
Why hastar is attacking the one who is giving him food?

So the thing is, In the starting of the movie we see a story about hastar in which it is mentioned that he can not take food forcefully. Basically the thing is the circle made of flour is not intended to give hastar but the dough doll is made to offer him! That's why he can't touch the flour, but can touch the dough doll as it was offered to him!

For second answer he does not attack or eat people who offer him food, but it is his curse that if he touches anyone he will also be cursed and that's what happened to everyone in the movie! And the curse is they become immortal in the way they're shown in the movie!
