HP SFF Gaming PC - Ultra-Budget Mods & Upgrades

I recently acquired this PC, and figured I'd make a video about some of my typical mods and upgrades.

Ive got one a hp prodesk 6000 with an i3. ive put in a full size graphics card in (with a bit of cutting). My issue is the core i3 4150. Im going to get a core i5 4570. Its about £40. For £90 I could get the full size version of this computer with the i5 that I want included plus my rx 470 would fit with no modifications. I think ill spray the front red like you did. Its my favourite collour. Great vid. Ive subbed.

the modding is amazing, really. Next level shit, I don't know what you do with those but I'd recommend just a better GPU if you plan on selling it to people who want to game. A low profile GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1650 would perform way better.

Granted, in the current market it's probably not the best time to buy those but in principle, I reckon that's the play

If you put a q87 mobo in there, just slap on an i5 4th gen or i7 4th gen paired with a 1650 sff then boom... powerful 1080p mini gaming pc.

Get yourself a cheap $50 case, transplant this to it and save up for a proper graphics card. Even though the motherboard and PSU are proprietary, there is an adapter you can get for cheap (24 pin to 6 pin adapter) to fix this issue letting you install a proper PSU to power the system.

i have this exact pc with 32 gigs of ram but i dont have a graphics card in and it runs all the games i play,
i run these games at 720p becuase of the tv's resolution,
terraria at a full 60 fps with subtle frame skip,
minecraft 15 chunks at 40 to 100 fps with a mod called sodium for more fps ( this game fps do be weird)
skyrim se with lower settings with the use of bethINI i get 20 fps surprisingly playable at that framerate but if want more fps i set the resalution to 800x600 for 40 fps in most casses,
fallout 4 is the same case with skyrim but you cant see the full hud in power armor in 800x600 resolution so rip,
gamecube emulation isnt that great it barely plays u.s games smoothly but i think eu games would work since they are at a lower frame rate,
psp emulation is perfect for monster hunter at 2x resolution 3x resolution would still work since thats the only psp game i played,
dream cast games should run at full speed (tho the only game i played was sonic adventure 2)
n64 games play smoothly and i think it would run better if you find the right core i forgot whats it actually called,
roblox runs smoothly on the lowest setting but you can turn it up a bit if you want the games to look better,
fortnite runs around 20-30 fps on the pve game mode save the world and the battle royale portion is not that playable with the performance mode, i havent played it in a while tho,

and this is the frame rates and stuff i get on this pc and i enjoy playing these games on this computer
i do have a laptop for when i wanna play games that dont take much power to run like game boy and super nintendo
and i also use the laptop to connect to the internet on this pc since im ways away from the router, and uh yeah this is long oops

(do note if you install the new amd drivers youll get a weird color swap when you launch the game the second time in full screen mode the only thing i found that fixes this is go to the .exe file to the game or emulator right click property's then compatibility then disable full screen optimizations that should fix it, most of the games i listed have this issue)


gaming with a wireless mac keyboard on windows is fun :) *dont do this please* you only have access to f5 and f6 function keys and i had to rebind things on minecraft for full screen and screen shots, i dont know how to fix it or change it work properly (i got my keyboard from good will for 5 dollars its a logitech k750 keyboard and i know there is one for windows it was just not in the thrift store just uh telling this part just incase some one wants to know the keyboard im using also typed this whole thing out with this key board)

I have an HP EliteDesk 705 G3 PC with an AMD A8-9600 processor and it has an AM4 socket on the motherboard. Can I upgrade it with an AMD Ryzen 3, Ryzen 5, or Ryzen 7 processor because Ryzen 3, Ryzen 5, and Ryzen 7 processor also supports the AM4 socket?

I have HP 800 G1 can i swap cooler for another (arctic cooler) now i have stock HP cooler and its really bad...One guy told me i only can swap hdd and ssd 😓 or can I swap to ATX case with change of power supply? And yeah I have HP motherboard...
