Thank you. Do you know if you can then move one of the smaller split clips back to the project media to possibly use later? I have a long clip I want to break up into smaller ones but I don't know what order they'll go in yet. I'd like to save the smaller clips in the project media for later, not in the timeline. But I can't figure out how to do this or if it's possible. Please help!

Unfortunately im trying to find a way to cut out just the highlights of a 2 and a half hour podcast and there doesnt seem to be a way to do this in one project. I'll have to dig through the same two hour video 15 times. Not your fault guess imovie just doesnt have a way to do this well.
