Well that's weird. Cars overheat in summer, and it might have spread to the trees no matter if it was pushed off the road or not. It will be tough to prove criminal intent on this one. There are easier ways rather than leaving your signature behind in the form of a serial number on an un-burnable engine block...

That guy was hiding evidence in that burning car. The only other rational explanation as to why a grown man would push a burning car into a gulley in the height of fire season, is that the home insurance companies paid him to do it so they can continue to have an excuse to raise rates.
