I have a ‘22 with the 4 banger. It’s shocking how potent this engine coupled with the 8speed A/T is. I owned a C5Vette, a ‘15 Audi TTS, and a ‘16 Audi S5. This is more fun than all of those.
That said, I also owned a ‘13 135i, which had the turbo inline six. That engine was amazing and it makes me want the m40i.

If you get Z4 with M Package, M Sport Brakes will solve the problem with standard brakes 😄 Exhaust can be tweeked too^^

I own this exact car ‘19 (I really can’t see any differences). I absolutely love it - fun to drive and can fit a golf bag in the trunk with the top down (one of my requirements)!

Bro this car sounds sick and looks amazing im so happy they didnt make it electric. Yea it would be faster, but i rather have the revs n downshifts it feel more exciting to drive

This is actually a car on my watch list, according to the z4 reddit, the 40i is the more reliable engine option than the 30i, but thats pretty much word of mouth.

Do you live in Canada? As someone that has owned the 30i AND now the M40i... not sure where you got he $39, 000 price from as it STARTS... at $50k in the US in 2022. I have also done some vids on both the 30i and M40i (not monetized at all ... just want to share information). I'll still give you a thumbs up, but I have to disagree on many points that you make here on the 30i. Let's face it... you get a 30i more as a luxury roadster, not a SPORTS car. The 30i is a SPORTY car... not a sports car. If you want a sports car (and even this is questionable) get the M40i as it is more comparable to the Porsche Boxster.
