Perhaps some of you might remember Nikola Tesla's "Dead beam " technology with inclusion of Harp. Unlike laser, Tesla's Dead Ray was traveling with the infinite/instant speed of Ions, sourcing it from Stratosphere. I wonder why he was pushed to the side, discredited, robbed, lab put on fire and the first person that came to Tesla's hotel rooms and most of the records were taken was an interesting Tesla famously stated, quote; I'm not upset if they still my patents and ideas, but I'm terribly worried they don't have their own, unquote.

LASER weapons have always been the dream weapon for most military scientists, the new T-USPL seems to meet most of the design specs and thus should be a great boost to US defense. Thanks for this cool video and decent coverage of the weapon system.

Interesting Tech. I have a feeling these Lasers could be used to destroy nuclear missiles launched from North Korea causing them to detonate over the country that launches them toward the U.S. basically using their own launched nuclear missiles to destroy them without the U.S. having to launch any missiles.

I was a young man in 1980 when President Ronald Reagan initiated 'Star Wars' concept of Anti-Missile/Cruise Missile defense system. That was 43 years ago. Back then cars didn't have computers or chips in them, the Cell Phone was at least 12 years away, and Desk Top PC were not in use. Yah think maybe ICBM's /Cruise Missiles even Hypersonic's might just be antiquated ? I know we have defenses against them, just not how many, their kill ratio and where they are.

I was a Civilian Military Contractor in 1988 after being in the Army and Air Force for 14 plus years and we had lasers then. But the power source that was needed was so large that there use was limited. So has we knew then that until technology was to develop a smaller powerful power source it would not be the weapon it needed to be! And now they have the technology and ability to put it into almost a hand held weapon like a Star Trek or Star Wars hand held “phaser”!
