How to cut and sew together SIMPLE pants - BASIC STEPS!

Dear Sewing Friends, in this video I would love to share with you some very basic steps on how to assemble pants. Of course details will always depend on what type of pants you're sewing, what kind of pattern pieces you have and the fabric you're using - but the basic principle will stay relatively the same. Pants assembled in this video are simple gathered waist pants.

I made a beginner error by cutting the back pattern on the right side of the fabric instead of the wrong side. Do I need to go buy more fabric and do it correctly or can I work with this somehow? Did I mention I am a beginner and this is my very first item?

She forgot to mention that if you don’t know if this is going to fit you would do a basting seam first and not do the pocket make sure it fits first before you start adding the pocket. I am about ready to start putting this together
