TIP, Focus on both graphics and games. As you stated "You can make fan art for your favoriate games or youtubers", In a way it wastes alot of time. It can help making an origenal project or a new idea for a game. Make a GFX for that as display. Even tho i can be alot to manage, its a better way than making something just for display.

i'm interested with commisions
so to recap: you can choose a skill and learn A LOT of that skill then make a dev forum or twitter and then do things like making art if you do graphics or a statue if you do building or learning LUA if ur scripting then show out ur past work

commisions come with one problem and its to be 13 or older which is unfair for the younger people that have alot of skill as well.
